To find value and growth in the stock markets of emerging markets seems to me to be a quick way to grow investment-bound savings.
Emerging markets, by their very nature, are playing catch-up to the developed markets. That’s a good thing. The steep economic “learning curve” they find themselves on represents the potential for soaring rates of technology transfer and foreign investment.
Emerging markets with inherent competitive advantages, such as, for example, abundant natural resources, proximity to developed or larger emerging markets, and/or low labour costs, promise great rewards for both multinational companies and savvy individual investors.
